Notre Histoire...

L’idée d’avoir un atelier ouvert au public a germé dans la tête de Julie Frappier au début des années 90.

Il ne suffisait que de trouver le meilleur endroit et le concept idéal.

Julie fait la rencontre de Gaëtan Pelletier en 1998 lorsque tous deux habitent au Mont-Tremblant.

L’idée initiale prend un autre virage lorsqu’en 1999, pour combler un besoin de changement, ils partent à l’aventure en motorisé.

Voyageant durant 1 an de la Californie à la République dominicaine, en passant par Santa Fe et Key West, ils rencontrent plusieurs artisans et autant d’ateliers.

Ce parcours les emmènent en Gaspésie où ils jetteront finalement l’ancre.

C’est en juillet 2005 que l’endroit idéal est enfin trouvé à Bonaventure et que Julie démarre Verre et Bulles.

Sa mère (Gertrude) viendra travailler avec elle durant les deux premiers étés.

Presque 1 an plus tard, en mai 2006, Gaëtan se joint à l’entreprise à temps plein.

Our history

The idea of having a workshop open to the public started in Julie's mind in the early 1990.

The only things missing in those days were the concept and the ideal location.

Julie met Gaëtan Pelletier in 1998 in Mont-Tremblant . They left Mont-Tremblant in 1999 for the big aventure in an old R.V.  

From Santa Fe to California, from California to Key West and from Florida to the Dominican Republic; between meetings with artists and visits of workshops this long trip brought them to the Gaspé where they finally dropped anchor in 2003.

The ideal location was found in Bonaventure where Julie opened Verre & Bulles in july 2005.

Gertrude, her mother, came during the two first summer to work with Julie.

In may 2006, Gaëtan joined the adventure on a full time basis.
